BUFFALO SOLDIER CHALLENGE
Once the trail runners have completed their races and caught their breath, it’s time for the Buffalo Soldiers to take center stage! Briefing for the Buffalo Soldier Challenge will start at 12:00 sharp on race day.
Launched at Tangila Trail Series 2022, the Buffalo Soldier Challenge is a non-technical 11 km bicycle race for Mkushi farm staff who ride single-speed bicycles. It’s a great way for a wider spectrum of the farming community to get involved and to experience the unique mix of camaraderie and competition that defines Tangila Trail Series.
We are delighted that Buffalo Bicycles, a subsidiary of World Bicycle Relief, has come on board again this year to support the 2024 Buffalo Soldier Challenge. Buffalo Bicycles will generously provide a t-shirt and cap to each participant as well as four bicycles as prizes for the winning team.
Niner Juliet Logistics and Nandalala Holistic Living will also provide mountain bikes to the first male and first female finishers.
Click the link below to register your riders. Registration will close on 20 June (if not sold out). In order to ensure all riders can compete safely, a maximum of 60 participants will be permitted.
See below for detailed rules and requirements.
